The truth is I was totally overwhelmed at work and with various other things going on in my life. It was about all I could do just to keep my head above water and maintain some nominal level of fitness and“attempt” to eat nourishing foods as much as possible. Funny how it is so much harder to eat well when we are stressed… And of course that is when we need it most!
Typically I love summer and mourn its end. Not this year… I am happy to put this summer behind me. I don’t want to tread water anymore– unless I am actually in a pool – something I did very little of over the last three months!
While I haven’t written any posts for a while, I want to assure you that I have still been reading and researching many topics I intend to write about in the coming weeks and months. I also had some occasions to discuss (ahem… argue) with some friends and family members about our various ideas on food, nutrition and exercise.
Beginning next week, I am looking forward to opening up the debate about some of these topics and more on the Real Skinny. See you next week!
